The dream by the seaside
Martin Zhao
Sky is blue and the cloud is white,
We run along the beach and fly the kite. The day is long and old,
My feeling is sweet and your smile is like gold.
The scenery is full of might,
The kite is flying at its height.
Back soon, hug me, make love hold,
Stay with me, until we are old.
I wanna look at the star tonight,
and count how many stars are shining bright. Seagulls hover over the surging wave,
But I am drinking myself to an early grave.
When we are back to the real life,
My heart is just stabbed by a knife. There is nothing that we can wish,
Just like the shoals of fish.
