Cultural differences

It is well known that people in different countries behave in different ways , such as their way of life and thinking and so on . In my opinion , it is because the difference cultural background that people behave in different ways . Take people in western and eastern countries for example .

First of all , the way of life . In eastern countries , most of people like live together and teamwork . When they have some problem , they are tend to ask others for help . On the contrary , the western people like live alone , without their parents . Besides , when they meet with a problem , they are apt to deal with it by themselves instead of asking for help . But as time passes by , some of young people in eastern countries like live alone , because they enjoy independence . In this context , they have something in common with western people .

Secondly , the way of thinking . Some one say western people think directly , and eastern people think indirectly as they may think a lot. For example , when western people are angry , they behave angrily . However , if eastern people are angry , they may not behave angrily , maybe they will smile because they think it will hurt others . But actually , I do not agree with it . As western people have more critical thinking , so they also complicated thought .

Thirdly , the relationships . In western countries , people live alone , so their relationships is rather simple . On the contrast , eastern people usually live together , so they always communicate with each others , of course , their relationships is quiet complicated . But as far as I am concerned , the population is a major factor . Eastern population is larger than that in west , so eastern people have more friends .

Last but no least , the way of solving a problem. Most of the eastern people when they meet with some problems , maybe they will think how to avoid them first . If they cannot avoid the problems , usually , they will ask for help . However , the western people will think how to solve them at the first sight . Besides , they like solve the problems by themselves .

In a word , there are many cultural differences in the world , and we cannot say which is better than others , because cultures is equal , they have right to live on , so do the cultural differences . What we can do is respect the cultural differences , communicate with each other and understand each other .
