Lancers

At h l e t i c s

The Lancers of Lutheran High School South always compete to win and have a reputation for superior athleticism. More importantly, our athletes are consistently recognized for outstanding sportsmanship. As a highly-respected member of the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA), our teams compete in the Metro League. While participation in athletics is voluntary, about two-thirds of our students participate in at least one athletic team, and many compete in two and three sports for year-round fitness and competition. Some teams at Lutheran High School South must select and narrow squads to a particular size.

First Class Facilities Lutheran High School South’s outdoor athletic facilities include a new football stadium equipped with lights, artificial turf and eight-lane track; two baseball fields; two softball fields; a field hockey field; soccer field and batting cage. Our indoor facilities consist of a gymnasium, multipurpose gym, weight room and batting cage.
