Abstract

Onlinelearnedtrackingiswidelyusedforit’sadap-tiveabilitytohandleappearancechanges.However,itin-troducespotentialdriftingproblemsduetotheaccumula-tionoferrorsduringtheself-updating,especiallyfortheoccludedscenarios.Therecentliteraturedemonstratesthatappropriatecombinationsoftrackerscanhelpbal-ancestabilityand exibilityrequirements.Wehavede-velopedarobusttrackingalgorithmusingalocalsparseappearancemodel(SPT).Astaticsparsedictionaryandadynamicallyonlineupdatedbasisdistributionmodelthetargetappearance.Anovelsparserepresentation-basedvotingmapandsparseconstraintregularizedmean-shiftsupporttherobustobjecttracking.Besidesthesecontri-butions,wealsointroduceanewdictionarylearningal-gorithmwithalocallyconstrainedsparserepresentation,calledK-Selection.Basedonasetofcomprehensiveexper-iments,ouralgorithmhasdemonstratedbetterperformancethanalternativesreportedintherecentliterature.
