Good morning, my dear teachers and professors:

It’s my honor to be here for your interview, first let me introduce myself, My name is Liangshuli, 22 years old

,born in Xinxiang city, HeNan Province. In 2005, I entered Shenyang Jianzhu University, majoring in materials

chemistry. During the nearly 4 years study, I worked hard and I was always active in various activities.

My undergraduate period will be accomplished in July this year, and now I am trying my best to obtain a key to

Southwest Jiaotong University.

Generally speaking, I am a hard working student especially doing the things I am interested in. I will try my best

to finish it, no matter how difficult. Fortunately, I have obtained such a great deal of beneficial advice from my

respected professors and tutors, which does help a lot in my study and growth. Although I am not among the top

of my classmates, I believe that I have certain advantages, such as practical, acute observation, willing to innovate

and so on, which are crucial to the experimental research work. There are several reasons for my decision to study here.

First I have been deeply impressed by the academic atmosphere of here. In my opinion, as one of the most

famous universities in our country, it provides people with enough room to get further enrichment.

The second one is I am longing to do research in materials science throughout my life. It’s a pleasure to be

with my favorite thing for lifetime. I suppose this is the most important factor in my decision.

Furthermore, I think further study is still urgent for me to realize my self-value. Life is precious. It is necessary

to seize any chance for self-development, especially in this competitive modern world.

In a word, I am looking forward to making a solid foundation for future profession after three years study here.

If luckily I got the chance to learn materials science in Southwest Jiaotong University, I will concentrate on the

study and reserch in this field. First I will work hard to learn the theoretical knowledge, constructing a solid base for

my future work. Second I would like to do some practical work with the help of the supervisor and classmates, and

through this I can get something that cannot be acquired from the textbooks. I believe after 3 years of learning, my

dream will finally come true.
